The hotel was a last minute choice after travelling down from Liverpool for the Triumph Adventure Experience in the Brecon Beacons. My wife and I were both really taken with the friendly, helpful nature of the staff, the great value of the stay and the wonderful atmosphere of the pub. There's good local eateries and a good breakfast in the hotel; we had two fantastic evenings in the bar playing pool on the well maintained table. Loads of pluses, including the nearby attractions such as the National Garden of Wales, Swansea and The Mumbles, the Brecon Beacons but the lasting impression I'll keep was of the friendly welcome. Brilliant.

Update: 03/25. Just been for lunch, surf and turf was outstanding. Steak, scampi chips & salad. Steak was cooked perfectly chips were home made and the salad was salad. It really is difficult to beat for value for money. In summary the drinks are reasonably priced and the food is spot on. Great place to go for lunch. It's a good pub, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable which is great. Plenty of live music on Saturdays. They have loads of crash helmets and a few motor bikes hanging from the ceiling or on stands which is cool. A small seating area which doubles as a stage, along with the main sewing areas. They also have the blues brothers keeping an eye on things from the corner which is a nice touch. Haven't tried the food or the hotel but I've no doubt it'll all be good .

Went there Oasis weekend. So everywhere was a little busy. Rooms were great and just what we were after. Clean, modern, fresh. Met some staff and even owners. Genuinely nice, friendly people. Helped us with directions & parking in Cadiff for the concert. The pub area has a biker theme. Plenty of drink options. Had a live singer on Friday. Great location for many South Wales tourist locations. Definitely would stay there again.

Lovely spot to stay, very lively on a Saturday evening for pints and a great location if you're wanting to do any event at the Triumph Centre!
